那些青山，矮了许多；
那些田埂，短了许多。
那棵枇杷，已经挂果；
那轮夕阳，还在下落。

那条山路，依然坎坷；
那丛芭蕉，依然婀娜。
那些草籽，依然开着；
那只蜻蜓，再没来过。

村外小学，已经残破；
所有教室，已经上锁。
里面的我，外面的我，
隔着窗户，隔着银河。

光贵依旧，憨憨笑着，
他的铁环，换了摩托。
几碟往事，摆上木桌，
半碗白酒，半生蹉跎。

问问幺妹，不知下落；
问问小青，无法联络。
问问许三，他却沉默，
再问许三，还是沉默。
Something in Hu's Village Liu Nian
I
Those verdant mountains feel low much;
And those rice fields seem short much.
The loquat tree there has borne its fruits since,
And the sun at dusk is setting towards distance.
II
The road along the hill remains rough;
And the Chinese banana there graceful.
The grass seeds are producing even now;
But the very dragonfly stops come and show.
III
The school beside Hu’s village has rotten;
Of where all the classrooms are by lock fasten.
I, who am standing outside now, and had inside stayed;
Were separated by the windows as like Milky Way.

Guanggui is still grinning shyly somewhat,
Whose iron hoops were exchanged by a motor.
On the wood table a few of stories are served in a tray,
Half a bowl of wine vs half lifetime of ours idled away.

How about the youngest girl? Nobody knows;
Where is Little Qing? No contact yet till now.
Then how’s Xu San, in turn? He stops uttering a sound,
How about Xu San, tell! He refuses to recount. |
