湘西土匪 刘 年
这里青山绿水，
曾经盛产土匪。
还想做个土匪，
独霸这方山水。
赋税不许进来，
风光不许出去。
早晨东山采薇，
黄昏南山采菊。
晚上那树梅影，
可做押寨夫人。

Liu Nian
It bears fresh valleys and clear rivers,
Where it had grown brigand readily ever.
I want to be a brigand now, too
To dominate such blessed land solo.
Tax and revenue are not chartered inside ,
Sceneries are prohibited going outside.
At dawn I pick up vetch in the Odes on the hill eastern,
At dusk then plunk the Hermit’s daisy in the valley southern.
At each night still the figure of plum, I address,
Is ready to make my encampment mistress.
