国际诗歌翻译研究中心接收推荐稿参加印度2013年底出版英文版《当代世界诗选》
印度将于2013年底出版英文版《当代世界诗选》
日前，国际诗歌翻译研究中心（IPTRC）主席张智博士，接获印度“A.R.A.W.LII. (Academy of 'raitƏ*(s) And World Literati) 院长的专函，称该学院正在编选英文版“An Anthology of Contemporary World Poetry”（《当代世界诗选》），委托国际诗歌翻译研究中心（IPTRC）推荐数位当代中国重要诗人入编《当代世界诗选》。 据悉，“A.R.A.W.LII. (Academy of 'raitƏ*(s) And World Literati)董事会将于今年5月—6月，对所有稿件展开讨论并定稿，2013年底在印度正式出版、发行。经慎重研究，本中心拟向印度方面推荐5—10位当下中国重要诗人。为了确保文本质量，特予以公开征稿，具体事项如下：
一、每位诗人自选代表性诗作5首（每首不超过50行），个人简介一份（限600个单词，必须包含出生年月、性别、已出版著作、现居地等基本信息），稿末请附上作者准确的中英文通讯地址、邮编、姓名、电话、电子邮箱等；
二、本中心将在对方规定的时间内（即2013年5月25日前）提交全部诗稿，由于时间紧迫（仅十四天），因此，所有来稿请提供高质量的中英文版本（包括作者简介），本中心只负责审读和推荐，不承担英译义务。如果您最终落选，也请以淡然的心态处之；
三、有样书，无稿酬；
四、截止日期：2013年5月24日；
五、来稿一律以附件形式，电邮至：iptrc1995@126.com, 主题请标明：印度《当代世界诗选》和作者名。
六、凡来稿者，均视为认同以上规则。谢谢大家！

Dear Poet Dr. Zhang Zhi, President of IPTRC,
I am pleased to inform you that A.R.A.W.LII. is going to bring out an anthology of contemporary world poetry called THE SECOND GENESIS. We invite your contribution to the proposed anthology.
A.R.A.W.LII. (Academy of 'raitƏ*(s) And World Literati) is our modest venture that has long been working to promote literature and creative writing and to strengthen cultural ties between India and other countries of the world. In our Advisory and Editorial Boards we have eminent poets and writers from all over the world. We have been publishing a number of books, newsletters, poetry collections apart from regularly bringing out the official journal of the Academy- Prosopisia.
The Academy has taken upon itself the mammoth task of compiling The Second Genesis: An Anthology of Contemporary World Poetry. We invite you, therefore, to be a part of this grand celebration of poetry and creativity and help us in our endeavor by sending us your poems and circulating this message among the fellow poets who you know and who know you from all over the world.
The poems to be submitted must be in English or translated into English and the poet must send them to us by himself/herself along with a brief bio-note. The maximum length for a poem may not exceed two pages. The small write-up about the anthology may furnish you with some more details about the thematic concerns the editors may like the poets to address to. Our initial plan is to include at least five poems of each poet but ARAWLII reserves the right to decide which and how many poems of a particular poet will be a part of the proposed anthology.
The copyright of the poems will remain with the poet. Furthermore, there is no publication fee for the submissions.
This is an enormous project and we sincerely regret that with its limited resources ARAWLII cannot afford to offer any honorarium. ARAWLII will send 5 complimentary copies of the published anthology to every poet included therein along with 5 complimentary printouts of his/her contribution to the volume. If the poet requires any more copies of the published anthology, the Academy will provide them at cost price + mailing charges.
We hope to bring out the anthology by the end of 2013. The Academy would hold the Board meeting in May-June 2013 to discuss and finalise the proposal.
This beside, we’d appreciate if you could CIRCULATE THE MESSAGE ABOUT THE ANTHOLOGY AND HELP US MAKE THE SECOND GENESIS THE MOVEMENT OF THE TIMES AND THE MOVING MONUMENT OF THE CENTURY.
